A workshop recommended for and open to all level dancers. A "must" for

elements of the core foundation of the dance. It holds profound enlightenment
for even the most experienced dancers, and contains the key as well to full
appreciation of the material planned for the other five workshops.

2:30-3:45pm [W2]: CONCEPTUAL APPLICATIONS OF THE CHANGE OF FRONT

A workshop designed to understand the concept, purpose and styling of the
change of front in both parallel and cross feet systems.

4-5:15pm [W3]: ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS OF CHANGES OF DIRECTION

A workshop that uses the power of the code of the tango to combine inside and
outside crosses to change direction as the woman dances around the man and the
man dances around the floor.

Sunday July 8th

1-2:15pm [W4]: DYNAMICS OF VOLCADAS AND PLANEOS

A workshop designed to teach the concept, purpose and styling of dancing off
axis to create eye pleasing combinations.

2:30-3:45 [W5]: DIRECTION CHANGES WITH A TWIST

A workshop designed to challenge the improvisational power of the dancers
altering the traditional forms of direction changes.

4-5:15pm [W6]: SAFE AMAGUES AND BOLEOS
A workshop designed to introduce the concept, purpose and styling of amagues
and boleos for use in a social context while improving floor craft.
